Nutritious and Delicious – healthy convenience food from My Local Indian
March is National Nutrition Month and here at My Local Indian it is the perfect opportunity for us to highlight how our frozen convenience food is so different from what you typically get when quick and easy are the order of the day.
We are revolutionising the frozen food market, one delivery at a time.
Until now, convenience has always involved compromise – both of quality and taste, but we can assure you that once you’ve tried our quality frozen meals, there’ll be no going back to the ready (dready?) meals, tasteless frozen dishes and unhealthy take aways you’ve put up with in the past.
Our dishes are not:
Factory Produced
Bland Supermarket quality
Full of Additives & Preservatives
We are proud that our dishes are:
Chef prepared in small batches in our restaurant kitchen
Cooked using the best fresh and local ingredients
Frozen Fresh retaining all the taste and aromatics
If you’ve been disappointed with the quality of supermarket ready meals, take away outlet dishes and frozen food in the past, then now is the time to try our Indian meal delivery service – it’s easy to place your order online and we can’t wait to deliver our top quality, authentic frozen Indian dishes direct to you at home.
Nutritious and Delicious – no red warnings here
The NHS Live Well – Eat Well campaign is clear in its advice when it comes to nutritional labelling: “The more green on the label, the healthier the choice. If you buy a food that has all or mostly green on the label, you know straight away that it’s a healthier choice. Amber means neither high nor low, so you can eat foods with all or mostly amber on the label most of the time. But any red on the label means the food is high in fat, saturated fat, salt or sugars, and these are the foods we should cut down on. Try to eat these foods las infrequently as possible and only and in small amounts” At My Local Indian we’re proud to display nutritional labelling on our packaging as they are a real reflection of the fresh ingredients and healthy cooking methods we use to produce our dishes – we challenge you to find frozen convenience food that is as healthy and delicious as My Local Indian!
